justin paterson, co-owner/chef & lisa jonckheere, co-owner
justin has been in the culinary industry for over 10 years. prior to moving to trumansburg, he was the executive chef at province in downtown chicago. he developed his passion for the culinary arts several years ago, while working at wdw in orlando, florida. more importantly, this is where co-owners lisa and justin met. justin is happy to be back to the country and working closely with community.
lisa has been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. she started her career working at wdw in orlando, florida. as a restaurant guest service manager. she moved to chicago to work at the four seasons as an assistant bar & lounge manager. for the past three years, lisa has stepped away from the hospitality industry and has been working as an executive assistant to the ceo of a private equity firm. lisa is happy to return to the industry and enjoying the country living in trumansburg.
matt kelly, sous chef
matt moved to chicago three years ago to develop his passion and skills in the culinary arts at 160 blue. while in chicago matt was the sous chef at province. matt and justin have worked together for the past two years and have similar philosophes for farm to table cuisine. matt is excited to work closely with the farmers in trumansburg and the surrounding area.
lucky & calley, fat cats
we have met so many farm dogs, we thought you would like to meet our restaurant cats. although they don’t spend any time in the restaurant they are both fed very well. they are enjoying the move to the country; especially all the bugs!
